available for a Registered Nurse with Level 4 NICU expertise to
provide advanced care for critically ill and premature infants.
This travel position offers a chance to contribute to a leading
neonatal intensive care unit renowned for its comprehensive
services and cutting-edge technology. Location:This role is based
in Apopka, FL, with placement at a major women and babies hospital
equipped with 142 NICU beds. The unit maintains patient ratios of
6-8:1 and utilizes advanced respiratory and neonatal support
equipment such as High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV),
High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), Conventional
Ventilators, Nitric Oxide therapy, Bubble CPAP, Heated High-Flow
Nasal Cannula, LTV, T1, and MR1. The electronic medical record
system in use is EPIC. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert
nursing care to premature and critically ill infants within a Level
4 NICU setting - Utilize advanced respiratory support equipment,
particularly HFJV, to manage patient conditions - Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized
care plans - Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all
standards of care and hospital policies - Participate in continuous
education and skills enhancement to remain current with neonatal
care standards Qualifications: - Current RN licensure with a
minimum of 2 years experience in a Level 4 NICU - Required
certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP), and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Proven
proficiency with HFJV and other neonatal respiratory support
technologies - Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
system preferred Schedule: - 3x12 hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15)
per week - Six weekend shifts every six weeks - 36 guaranteed hours
