experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized
respiratory care in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
dedicated to premature infants and critically ill newborns. This
travel opportunity in Orlando, FL offers the chance to work with
advanced respiratory equipment in a high-acuity environment
supporting vulnerable patients. Responsibilities: - Deliver
respiratory therapy treatments and ventilator management using
equipment such as HFJV, HFOV, Conventional ventilation, Nitric
Oxide, BCPAP, HHFNC, LTV, T1, MR1. - Collaborate closely with the
multidisciplinary NICU healthcare team to develop and implement
individualized care plans for neonates. - Monitor patient status,
document treatments thoroughly in the EPIC electronic medical
record system. - Follow all policies regarding patient safety,
infection control, and equipment usage. - Maintain required
certifications and stay current with neonatal respiratory care best
practices. Qualifications: - Current Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
licensure. - Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Level 4
NICU setting. - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP), and RRT. - Proficient in the use of
high frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) and other neonatal
respiratory modalities. - Ability to work a 3x12 day shift
schedule: approximately 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM, including 6 weekend
shifts every 6 weeks. - Strong communication, critical thinking,
and teamwork skills essential for this high-pressure environment.
