in surgical procedures by providing first assist support to
surgeons. Participate in ongoing training and professional
development opportunities. Maintain a sterile environment and
ensure all instruments are prepared. Engage in performance
evaluations and set personal improvement goals. Monitor patient
vitals and report any changes to the surgical team. Ensure
compliance with health and safety regulations in the surgical
setting. Utilize data and metrics to assess personal performance
and success. Collaborate with team members to achieve surgical
goals and targets. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of
surgical equipment. Adapt to new technologies and surgical
techniques as they emerge. Document surgical procedures and patient
information accurately. Provide support to patients pre- and
post-surgery as needed. Experience/Qualifications Certification as
a Surgical Technician or equivalent qualification required. Proven
experience in surgical assistance within a hospital or surgical
center. Commitment to ongoing professional development and
training. Track record of setting and achieving personal
performance goals. Strong understanding of sterile techniques and
surgical protocols. Ability to monitor patient vitals and respond
to changes effectively. Ability to adapt to new technologies and
surgical techniques rapidly. Excellent teamwork and communication
skills in a surgical environment. Familiarity with health and
safety regulations in surgical settings. Proficiency in documenting
