Description
Performs all essential duties of Line service Representative such as loading and unloading of baggage, choking of aircraft, connecting electrical power units to aircraft, position passenger stair to aircraft, replenishing water supply and servicing of lavatories. Provides air start and air-conditioning. Connects tow bar and tug for push back or towing aircraft. Operates headset/radio to provide communication between ground crew and flight crew and tower. Cleans ramp area and ground equipment. Checks in baggage as required. Knows and complies with all safety procedures. Assists in scheduling of employees.
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass Drug testing.
Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
Work is done primarily outdoors, must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
Prior Ramp experience preferable
Able to continuously lift/move/push 70 lbs.
Must pass pre-employment drug test.
