  • Location: Fully Remote The role you'll contribute: The Research Informatics Solutions Leadprovides accurate and timely support for software and hardware (PC's and related hardware) as it pertains to specified systems that support the operations of the TRI-MD's Research Cores. The Lead focuses on and executes the technical and operational objectives of specific projects and identifies opportunities for improvements to various research information system platforms.Coordinates the implementation of TRI-MD's software applications and related hardware and manages the on-going maintenance of these systems.Interacts and communicates with TRI-MD faculty, scientists, and staff to provide training,information and service in a trouble-shooting and problem-solving capacity.Provides direction and guidance to the TRI-MD Information Systems Coordinator (ISC). The Lead facilitates the development of electronic source and case report forms.Oversees the activities of data-entry personnel.Provides technical support and training to end users.Assists in developing data management SOP's and works with research scientists to develop Data Management Plans.Manages the development and maintenance of the TRI Facebook account and TRI website. Participates in internal and/or external training programs to stay current on industry trends and skills applicable to assigned duties. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all The value you'll bring to the team: - Maintains understanding and proficiency with the latest Florida Hospital standard version of desktop software and hardware, security restrictions and limitations, as well as application functions and consistently applies these principles. - Coordinates the implementation and manages the on-going maintenance of CTMS, LIMS, EMR, document management, practice management, and data management solutions (TRI-MD software applications) and related hardware.Works with TRI-MD faculty, scientists, and staff and FH MIS and third-party software vendors to efficiently acquire, deploy, and maintain TRI-MD software applications.Manages multiple tasks as required. - Utilizes research protocols with faculty, scientists, and staff assistance to customize the TRI-MD software applications and define data input and output as indicated by application specifications, (i.e., identifies applicable technology solutions -including but not limited to Cerner Millennium and Cerner Discovere (eSource & eCRF) database builds). Assists TRI-MD faculty, scientists, and staff with database queries and report generation. - Maintains understanding and proficiency with all TRI-MD software applications and serves as the technical liaison between FH MIS ResIS Application Analysts, and TRI-MD Core managers and subject matter experts (SME); provides training and support to TRI faculty, scientists, and staff. Trouble-shoots problems in an effective and timely manner, escalating issues to FH MIS when necessary. - Identifies and resolves issues with TRI-MD software applications.Seeks information and resources to understand ways that the TRI-MD software applications will better serve the TRI-MD and ultimately the Florida Hospital Research Enterprise. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : - Masters degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Management Information Systems or other field OR equivalent or greater experience - Experience with the Cerner Millennium application suite - including PowerChart, PowerTrials, and Discovere.
