In addition to custody services, Schwab Advisor Services provides practice management and consultative support to help independent advisors start, build and grow their businesses. Advisor Services serves over 16,000 registered independent investment advisors who manage approximately $5 trillion in assets in client accounts. What you’ll do: The Senior Manager, Field Enablement is a strategic individual contributor responsible for preparing Schwab’s field teams to proactively add value in client relationships through Schwab’s broad portfolio of products and solutions. This role plays a critical part in translating strategy into clear, scalable enablement that builds awareness, deepens knowledge, and strengthens the capabilities required to recognize and act on client needs and opportunities. This leader partners closely with leadership and cross functional stakeholders to ensure field teams are confident and well equipped to deliver meaningful outcomes for advisors and Schwab. You are responsible for the following impact: • Translate strategy into action. Design and deliver integrated go to market internal communications and enablement strategies that support new product launches, enhancements, and major business initiatives—ensuring field readiness and adoption. • Drive field effectiveness. Partner with field leadership to evolve processes, tools, and rhythms that help frontline professionals consistently identify opportunities and maximize their ability to serve clients with Schwab’s full suite of solutions. • Build scalable enablement. Develop practical tools, resources, and learning experiences that reinforce strategy, strengthen capabilities, and enable field teams to apply what they learn in real client conversations. • Create clarity and confidence. Ensure all field audiences understand Schwab’s strategy, their role in delivering it, and how their actions contribute to advisor success and business results. • Measure and optimize impact. Define success metrics, assess enablement effectiveness, and continuously refine approaches based on insights, feedback, and performance outcomes. • Operate as a trusted partner. Collaborate across Product, Marketing, Sales, Service, and other business partners to align priorities, resolve ambiguity, and deliver cohesive enablement experiences. • Continuously improve. Identify opportunities to simplify, scale, and increase the impact of enablement efforts while maintaining a high standard of quality and relevance. Essential Skills & Qualities: • Knowledge and experience working with B2B Sales. • A track record of success in designing and delivering high-impact communications and enablement strategies that get attention and drive outcomes. • The ability to build relationships across team members, departments, and senior leaders. • Experience running fast-paced projects and delivering quick results. • Experience working in a matrixed organization with shared accountabilities. • Outcome-oriented with a knack for building and influencing strategies that drive desired results, not just activities. • Demonstrating confidence, diplomacy, maturity, and business savvy to effectively facilitate dialogue and decision-making, bringing an informed point of view to the conversation when appropriate. • The ability to synthesize and distill complex information. • Keen attention to detail, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines while balancing and prioritizing complex projects and deliverables. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Learning agility and a passion for continuous improvement. • Creativity in approaching modern and varied communication and enablement methods, including video, audio, visuals, etc. The role is not available as fully remote. Must live within reasonable commuting distance from the following Charles Schwab campus locations: • Westlake, TX • Orlando, FL What you have Required Technical/Functional Qualifications: • 5-7 years of experience designing and executing a variety of communication or enablement strategies. • Experience designing and delivery communications and/or enablement strategies. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. • Proficiency in designing visually appealing materials, using tools such as PowerPoint, Word, infographic software, etc. Experience using Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Captivate, or Adobe Illustrator is preferred but not required.
