Preconstruction Estimator Orlando, FL Competitive Base Salary
Bonus Standard Benefits A leading general contractor in the Orlando
area is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Estimator to support
their growing pipeline of commercial projects. This role plays a
key part in early project development, budgeting, and client-facing
collaboration. What You’ll Do Prepare detailed cost estimates for
ground-up commercial construction projects Collaborate with project
managers, architects, and engineers during preconstruction Solicit
and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Assist in conceptual and
schematic budgeting for new opportunities Track historical cost
data and support value engineering efforts Participate in design
development reviews and pre-bid meetings What We’re Looking For 5
years of experience in estimating, preferably with a ground up on
commercial projects Strong understanding of construction means,
methods, and market pricing Ability to break down drawings and
specs to develop accurate estimates Skilled in preconstruction
software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage, etc.) Clear
communicator and confident working in a team and client-facing
environment Local to Orlando or open to relocation This General
Contractor offers long-term stability, a strong regional
