We're on the lookout for an Assistant Controller to join our global client's wonderful team as a sole contributor. This role is ideal for a senior accountant looking for growth and opportunity in a large company. As an Assistant Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in working with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and consolidations. Our client delivers exceptional projects worldwide.
Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage the month-end process: Update and maintain recurring entries, intercompany transactions. Review of journal entries, account balance reconciliations and review, identify and resolve issues in financial statement data.
  
  
• 
  Financial Statements: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards. on a quarterly basis.
  
  
• 
  Analysis: Provide in-depth analysis with accounts, financial statements, transactions, operational issues.
  
  
• 
  Assisting and Supporting: Work with the controller to assist with any new accounting rules or software and policies and procedures.
  
  Qualifications of the Assistant Controller opportunity:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
    
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting principles.
    
  • Consolidations and intercompany transaction experience
    
  • IFRS experience (+)
    
  • Proficiency in SAP (+)
