Mortgage Originator
(In-house agents, leads and 150+ lender options) We are hiring an experienced mortgage originator to work with our in-house agents and company generated leads (and of course keep doing the business you are already doing!). We are not the ordinary mortgage company recruiting you just for the loans that you can bring in...we have loans from our established referral sources for you to originate today!
We are partners with a national, fast growing real estate team. You'll be paired up with a team of "in-house" agents (you can work remote, but the agents will be in the same state as you). And you'll receive all the same leads that the agents receive-we promise our agents at least 120 leads per year, usually a lot more, EACH. So you'll be receiving dozens-maybe even 75 or more per leads per month!
Naturally, you should have your own established referral sources that you should continue to nurture, but with our in-house agents and company leads we hope to double your production.
Flexible, work from home using our best in class technology stack. Must reside in the state with your assigned agents, but you may also be licensed and originate in multiple states.

Responsibilities:
Work with our team of in-house agents including weekly calls, train them on available loan programs.
Provide competent and timely (6 day a week) response to our in-house Realtor and builder referrals.
Respond to the in-bound leads the same day and collaborate with our agents on each lead.
Fully utilize our company provided CRM system and keep it up to date.
Contact applicants in a timely manner and provide thoughtful, consultative mortgage options using.
Pre-qualify borrowers, take complete loan applications, assess documentation requirements.
Review rates, costs, program options.
Keep transaction stakeholders such as agents, builders, etc. fully informed of transaction status.
Compensation:
This is a commissioned position, but we will provide you with immediate origination opportunities.
Extremely competitive commission of 165 bps on your personally produced loan sources, and100 bps on loans from in-house agents and company provided leads.
Great compensation is worthless if your rates aren't competitive. In our case we are confident that our rates and fees are lower than most retail mortgage bankers.
Additional compensation is paid when you recruit others and we have opportunities to advance as a team leader (aka branch manager). As a company we originate over $4 billion per year, but unlike retail mortgage bankers we don't have multiple levels of EVP, SVP, VP, regional managers etc. that drive up costs and make your rates less competitive. We do this by keeping corporates overhead low and reducing our lead generating costs by splitting it with our real estate team Requirements Qualifications: NMLS #, Licensed loan officer
Proven history of originating purchase loans (i.e. if you've only originated refis in a call center this isn't the right fit).
At least 3 years of experience as a licensed mortgage originator.
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
Willingness to prospect from company provided leads.
Be comfortable and willing to use video conferencing on a daily basis.
College degree strongly preferred
Strong technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.)
