Our employees enjoy a competitive benefit package including medical plans, vision, dental, 401(k) match and educational reimbursement.GENERAL FUNCTION: Assume responsibility for development of the assigned market segment, to include development and execution of marketing programs that successfully generate assigned sales revenue quotas. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: --- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales related environment or in the target market. --- Must possess knowledge of direct sales, marketing, budgeting and have strong program development skills including knowledge of market (DOD). --- Four-year college degree in relevant discipline preferred.SPECIFIC DUTIES: --- Develop and maintain a current Market Development Plan for new prospects and existing clients in the target market. --- Conduct personal sales calls to introduce products, generate quotations and manage the sales process. --- Write proposals and/or respond to Government generated bid packages, requests for quotation or other formal pricing requests. --- Assist with the development of Sales Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Training Program. --- Attend all scheduled meetings, trade shows and training courses. --- Comply with all administrative reporting requirements. --- Responsible for proposal development, RFQ documentation and other support as required. --- Provides support on Sales Force tools. --- Submit weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner to include, at a minimum: --- Weekly and Monthly Sales Report (summary of sales activity) --- Weekly and Monthly Prospect Data/Quote Report (pipeline report) --- Submit 90 day rolling sales forecasts monthly. --- Become proficient in understanding security requirements/specifications for DOD customers --- Gather market intelligence on competitors. --- Generate sales revenue consistent with quota expectations. --- Perform other duties in support of the Government Sales Program and Systems Sales Division as required.SPECIAL CONDITIONSThis position may require travel. Applicant must be eligible for DOD security clearance.
