WIRED Technologies Group is looking for AV Prewire Technician I - Residential candidates that are self-starters and motivated to help further our brand by providing superior workmanship. -WIRED Technologies Group engineers, installs and supplies technology for the ease of living. We offer competitive pay and benefits! -This position will install residential and commercial AV systems as well as apply knowledge of electronic and mechanical principles. A successful AV Technician I -will have at least 2 years of mechanical oriented experience.
Duties and Responsibilities -

• Run low voltage wiring for AV and custom integration systems and must have experience using appropriate hand tools.
• Run low voltage wiring in accordance with company safety procedures and in line with OSHA requirements.
• Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical theories and principles, reading architectural drawings, local and national electrical codes and properties of various materials.
• Must feel comfortable with climbing ladders and working on scaffolding up to 30 feet.
• Must maintain a clean work environment while onsite and respect builder-specific site requirements such as high-visibility shirts/vest, safety goggles, etc.
• Must be able to perform all duties required of the position in extreme heat and humidity in the Summer season.
  Qualifications
  • Two years of low voltage wiring experience preferred.
  • Must own basic hand tools
