Job Description This role will drive value through ensuring the commercial elements of spend in the assigned indirect categories are executed right with our vendors. This role will lead some sourcing decisions with key stakeholders and will apply category management to support the maximization of value, whilst minimizing risk from all external spend and assuring quality of delivery and performance. Major/Key Accountabilities Support NA Indirect Procurement Manager and Global Category Managers in the creation and execution of a 3 year strategic plan representing regional business needs & opportunities. Will challenge status quo and bring game changing ideas to team. Budget: Will use global guidance with regional levers & input. Will own regional change management & execution Own selected supplier relationships. To lead indirect procurement sourcing projects and lead in all indirect categories of spend (Marketing, Office Services, Transportation, Learning and Development, Packaging, Professional Services, HR, Travel, IT, Facilities Maintenance, Fleet, Utilities and Material Handling Equipment To align; sponsors and business stakeholders to drive year on year cost savings Developing and supporting initiatives to drive compliance to contracted suppliers or formal preferred supplier listings to ensure maximum savings are realized To support post acquisition activities driving benefits from spend category Undertake supplier management for all major suppliers within specific spend categories Establish & maintain risk management for assigned categories and suppliers ensuring continuity of supply Ensure financial accuracy (measurement & allocation) of project benefits including cost savings, cost avoidance and value generation Build strong relationships with both internal & external stakeholders enhancing the reputation of Global Procurement and Brambles Measures North America cost-saving delivery in line with annual plans and business targets Improvement in overall spend management across Indirect categories.
