PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Program Manager (PM) by performing as the Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) Analyst
  • Maintain a comprehensive and holistic system view while addressing stakeholder security and risk concern. Maintain/create program records and prepare special and recurring system reports
  • Apply architectural protection strategies, methods, tools, techniques, technologies, and trust principles and concepts to system design
  • Design and architect technical solutions to address cyber security challenges presented by architectures, networks, systems, and applications
  • Ensure the effectiveness and suitability of the security elements of the system
  • Lead analyses of alternatives (AoA) and requirements analyses to achieve a cost-effective security architectural design for data protections
  • Conduct security risk management and advise the PM, engineering team and key stakeholders on the security-relevant impact of threats and vulnerabilitiesRequirements
    MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
    • Active Top Secret clearance
    • Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar technical degree and a minimum of twelve (12) to twenty (20) years' of related experience including five (5) years' of leadership roles or an equivalent combination of education experience
    • Experience in the following activities:
      • Processing personnel security clearance
      • Classified visit procedures
      • Classified document control
      • Providing security briefings and training
      • Administration of SCI programs
      • Reviewing, investigating and reporting non-compliance issues
      • PC skills are necessary including fluency in MS Office applications
      • Possess a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and strong professional and ethical standards
      • Effective communication and vocational skills to include writing skills for various documents, reports, and proceduresDESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
        • Desired certifications include one or more of the following:
          • Certified Information System Security Professional - Engineering (CISSP-ISSEP)
          • Certified Information System Security Professional - Architect (CISSP-ISSAP) or similar
          • A certification in Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) a plus
            SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL
