Job Summary:

The RES Service and Parts Manager is responsible for the leadership and profitable growth of Roush's service (aftermarket) parts business for Themed Entertainment customers. The Service and Parts Manager is responsible for both creating demand with the customer and is also responsible for coordinating the execution of won projects. This person is the central point of contract for the Customer, along with internal and external supplier to quote, manufacture, deliver and support sales of both components and service for existing and new theme park attractions. The position executes the project within defined scope while promoting customer satisfaction by ensuring the project adheres to customer specifications and contract deliverables, proactively monitor the performance of supporting groups and resolve issue to ensure the delivery of high quality, on-time orders to Roush's customers.

As a Service and Parts Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute a Roush service and service parts profitable growth strategy
  • Identify new business opportunities with themed entertainment customers and create creative approaches to win and accomplish the scope of work
  • Lead both direct and indirect team members aligned to the service and service parts profitable growth strategy
  • Align with RES leadership including the Vice President and Business Development Manager to effectively grow and manage the business
  • Analyze customer Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and work with Roush internal shops and Supply Chain team to provide the most competitive quote to the customer in a timely manner. Ensure that quotations and any exceptions or other details of Roush's proposal are clearly communicated to the customer
  • Manage and lead the Service Program Manager in fulfillment of complex Service Parts orders, creating BOM's in PeopleSoft, maintaining PID's, and working with RES Technicians to assemble, inspect, package, and ship assemblies on-time
  • Manage the day-to-day client communication, including setting and managing client expectations and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Communicate project status (financials, health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to senior management
    To be considered a Service and Parts Manager, you will need:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 10+ years of Program Management or Account Management experience
    • Knowledgeable of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, welding and composites
    • Familiarity with engineering drawings including geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T), various welding, machining, metal finish processes, composite parts, general assembly procedures and practices, and quality inspection reports
    • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to solve complex problems and work independently
    • Ability to focus on customer service, cost, quality, and delivery
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
      A successful candidate may also have:
      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar
      • 5 years of work experience in Themed Entertainment Industry engineering or similar
      • Knowledge of warehouse management principles and operations
      • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, order management, inventory transactions and creating cost reports or summaries
      • Experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics
