Volt is immediately hiring for Electronics Repair Technician in Orlando, Florida.

Let your career thrive with Volt with this contingent to hire position with a leading manufacturer of electrical device and equipment used in the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries! These openings are for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Shift Times are as follows:
2:00pm - 11:30pm (2nd shift)
11:00pm - 06:30am (3rd shift)
As an Electronics Repair Technician you will be responsible for the intermediate electronic maintenance, test, repairs, services, and modifications of electronic equipment in accordance with FAA regulations.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment to component level
  • Work independently or in collaboration with experienced electronics technicians
  • Receive training in the use of more specialized test instruments and learn advanced troubleshooting procedures
  • Follow specific layout and schematic diagrams to complete repairs and maintain devices
  • Use equipment such as power supplies, oscillators, amplifiers, etc.
  • Completes quality and production paper work, prepares estimates, and maintains maintenance documentation in accordance with current quality assurance requirements
  • Completes repairs in accordance with company ISO procedures and within company objectives.
    This is a full time opportunity.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    • 4+ years related experience in servicing Aircraft electronics to a component level preferred in the commercial airline and/or aviation product support field OR a 2-year college level degree in electronics related field.
    • Must have understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations and other governing regulatory requirements
    • Able to meticulously document incoming product condition and maintenance activities
    • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
    • Familiarity with both analog and digital electronics, hardware and software
    • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
    • Ability to understand and speak English in order to read technical literature, follow oral instructions and communicate with cross functional team members.
    • Required to have an intermediate understanding of electronic theories and techniques and familiarity with standard electronic components
    • Ability to use basic and advanced test instruments and perform adjustments as necessary
    • Manual and Automatic Test Benches, PC, oscilloscope, and multimeters

      Pay Rate: $27.77 to $30.00/hour.
      *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
