Description:This is a Front End Pharmacy Technician role that will be handling most Welcome calls to new patients. This position is for a Specialty Pharmacy in which it will be handling the prescriptions initially until it moves to the fulfillment department.MUST BE A REGISTERED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN ABLE TO WORK MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAYResponsibilities:

• Administering Welcome Calls to new patients and data entry.
• Responsible for the intake start of prescription, inputs, refilling prescription, calling to clarify a prescription, handle transfers from other retail stores.
• Inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Responsible for all parts of the front end pharmacy.
• Ensures fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions by inputting patient information into system.
• Obtains refill clarification and authorization.
• Identifies and selects pharmaceutical product and quantity for prescription orders.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partnersTop Skills:Registered Pharmacy Technician, customer service, Pharmacy, computer skills, specialty pharmacy, prescription refill, Call center, Order entry, Customer support, Front end.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Execution and Results: Get Results - Works on top priorities first.
