Professional GrowthAs a Maintenance Specialist you are a valued
member of our team:Assist in the repair, maintenance and remodeling
of plumbing equipment and facilities.Maintain upkeep of shop,
replaces light fixtures and change light bulbs, pick up parts,
recycle aluminum & light bulbs, keep parking lot free of trash and
debris.Ability to mow, trim, edges, fertilize, and water grass and
other landscaped areas; weed, prune, mulch, fertilize and spray
trees, plants and shrubbery; prepares soil for planting seeds and
re-sods lawn areas; plants trees, seedlings and shrubs.Inspects
assigned areas corrects or reports safety hazards; cleans grounds,
paved areas and paths.Ability to operate safely and perform
maintenance on a variety of hand and power tools and equipment
related to activities including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge
trimmers, leaf blowers, and other equipment.Set up luncheon with
tables and chairs for staff and caters.Assembles and repairs
furniturePerforms major and minor remodeling task including
paintingAddress and repair any KPA safety concerns as
assigned.Replaces and repairs door hinges, windows, locks and
thresholdsAssist in inclement weather preparedness and clean up
(e.g., hurricane and floods etc...)Address and bring up concerns
that involve hiring specialist to the Operations ManagerOther
duties, as assigned.Preferred Candidates have the following:2 Years
of experience, preferredKnowledge of general carpentry, plumbing
and repairAbility to use hand tools and power toolsExcellent time
management and organizational skills.High School Education or GED
preferredValid Florida driver's license approved by our
insuranceEffective communication skills for relationship building
with our vendors and staffBasic math, reading, and ability to
follow directionsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described

work at heights of 12ft and higher on ladders or roof.Required to
sit for a periodically while driving a vehicleRegularly required to
talk or hear, communicate with others.Frequently use computer,
phone, copier/scanner and other office equipment in the course of a
