Job Description:
Complete all manner of service requests in a timely manner
(normally within 24 hours) including plumbing, heating, electrical,
HVAC, carpentry, key & lock, painting, landscaping, roofing, glass/
window screen repair & replacement, appliance repair, Keep curb
appeal at highest level daily by removing all trash, inspecting
sprinkler lines, and maintaining weed control. Grounds problems
should be brought to the attention of the Maintenance Supervisor
who will contact the landscape crew. Respond to emergency calls in
accordance with service requests priority system (including
evenings, weekends, and holidays) Assist with and participate in
snow removal operation Assist in natural disasters when applicable
(hurricane, flood preparedness, ) Assist team through
emergency/crisis situations until it is resolved Assist with and
participate in the moving of supplies, parts, appliances, HVAC
equipment, glass, equipment, tools, Assist with and participate in
maintaining the pool and associated equipment (if applicable)
Clean/sweep tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts,
racquetball courts, (if applicable) Advise supervisors of any known
or potential liability risks Keep dumpster and/or other garbage
areas clean Maintain and clean (if applicable) the clubhouse/office
Participate and follow our Safety Program HUD financed communities
be up to date on the most recent REAC requirements and assisting in
preparing for inspections Maintain ready vacant units in proper
working condition and keep them clean Adhere to all policies and
procedures and all government regulations such as Fair Housing,
American With Disabilities Act and Clean Air Act Eliminate waste
and assist in budget spending controls Assist in monthly/quarterly
inspections Additional attributes Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate in the English language Positive attitude,
highly organized, and energetic Strong customer service orientation
Job Requirements:Required Education -and experience High school
diploma or equivalent is required, additional schooling or
follow-up trade schooling preferred Minimum of 1 year of
multi-family maintenance, construction, or trade (plumbing, HVAC,
electrical, carpentry, etc.) experience Clean Background Drug-free
