Relations Analyst to join our team. The Employee Relations Analyst
will provide day-to-day support to managers and Human Capital on a
variety of employee relations issues. In addition to handling basic
ER issues regarding attendance, performance and policy
interpretation, this position will staff the Tier 2 ER phone queue
6 hours/day, doing intake of cases for managing or escalation to
Senior ER Analysts and Case Managers. - If you are located in
California or Nevada, you will have the flexibility to telecommute*
as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently handle 6 hours/per day of incoming
calls from Human Capital, Managers, and 'One Breath' cases
- Complete intake for all Employee Relations case types to either
manage/escalate appropriately to Sr. Employee Relations Analysts
and ER Case Managers
- Manage own caseload, providing coaching and consultation to
managers on issues involving non-exempt employees, including basic
attendance, performance, corrective action, and policy
interpretation cases
- Intake, manage and/or appropriately escalate emergency 'One
Breath' issues
- Other project work as it applies, i.e. severance documents,
etc. You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an

development for other roles you may be interested in. Required
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience -
- 1+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources
and/or within HRdirect Service Center
- Intermediate experience with Excel and Word
- Availability to work a 10:30am-7:00pm CST shift Preferred
Qualifications:
- PeopleSoft or other case management database experience
- Knowledge of State and Federal employment law; working
knowledge in ADA, FLSA, EEO -
- Problem solving and negotiating skills -
- Independent, analytical decision-making based on knowledge and
thorough interpretation of policy/practice -
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
priorities -
- Ability to work independently while working within guidelines
and established protocols
- Accurate and timely analysis of a variety of data to meet
deadlines and commitments -
- History of consulting and able to work independently -
- Demonstrate solid verbal and written
communication/documentation skills -
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this

Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado
residents is $54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut /
Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several
factors including but not limited to education, work experience,
certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group
