A Buyer job in Orlando, FL is now accepting applications. This is a 6-month contract position with our key Aerospace client. To be considered, you will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with minimum 1-4+ years of experience or Master's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with 0-2+ years of experience. In this role, you are responsible for the day to day execution of the workload including but not limited to requesting quotations, negotiating pricing within the Delegation of Authority thresholds, ensuring accuracy of the order, GL account, project number, relevant notes and requirements for the Purchase Order and any related documentation. ***This is a 6-month contract opportunity Buyer Job Responsibilities: Execute all Day-To-Day activities related to Procurement Purchase Contracts. Transforming Purchase Requisitions (PRs) as well as Industrial Operations Internal requisitions into Supplier Purchase Orders (POs). Ensuring supplier acknowledgement of Purchase Order receipt and delivery commitment. Managing purchase order cancellation, rescheduling or PO information changes (quantity, price, and requirements). Follow-up and expediting of purchase orders Managing disputes and problem solution Support local negotiations within the (DOA) Delegation of Authority thresholds and in alignment with Regional Procurement Category Managers and Buyers, Report on procurement projects and support New Product Integration responsibilities as per the Chorus 2.0 process To be accountable for compliance with Thales procurement policy and with the "Manage Acquisition" process of Chorus 2.0. Ensure application of the procurement process and usage of relevant tools so that there is a clear transparency of all work on a global basis Quote Management per the Thales prescribed tool RFx in e-ACQ under DoA Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis Buyer Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with minimum 1-4+ years of experience or Master's degree in engineering, supply chain, or business with 0-2+ years of experience Experienced in SAP or equivalent ERP systems Ability to make commitments and delivery what they promise Ability to work individually and as part of a team Capability to manage by influence and to convince Open minded (listen, share ideas) and bring added value / capture innovation Capability to handle conflicts / problem resolution To be agile (adapt in a complex environment, multi-cultural aspect open) Excellent intercommunication in written and verbal formats in his environment Ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines in high-pressure environment Develop network and team spirit Able to synthetize a global view of a complex problem If you are interested in this Buyer job in Orlando, FL, please apply via the "apply now" link.
