WUCF:WUCF is Central Florida's PBS television and FM Jazz stations in Orlando. We are Central Florida's Storyteller, encouraging curiosity and learning through compelling content and community engagement, serving 4 million households across the nine-county Central Florida area.The Opportunity:The IT Client Support Specialist I provides support and service administration including software and hardware troubleshooting, configuration, and installation as well as serving as a resource to other end users.Responsibilities:


  • Maintains, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs workstations while relocates and deploys new workstations.
  • Upgrades and installs hardware and software.
  • Uses electronic and networking testing equipment.
  • Provides asset management and documentation.
  • Creates and manages trouble and request tickets.
  • Provides customer service to end users.
  • Provides set-up of multimedia to include projectors, screens, laptops, etc. for classrooms and special events.
  • Trains staff, faculty, and students on technology and software.
  • The job responsibilities will include the ability to lift equipment and access areas under desks.
    Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Preferred Qualifications:

    • IT degree or previous technical experience.
    • Willingness to learn.
    • Basic knowledge of computer systems and networking.
    • Ability to analyze problems and offer solutions.
    • Ability to manage various tracking or tasking systems.
    • Quality communication skills.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
