• large pipelineJob DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Superintendent to join our team in the Finance industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the multifamily sector, wood framing, and finishing superintendent roles. This role is ideal for an individual with a background as a superintendent in a General Contractor setting, looking to bring their expertise to a challenging and rewarding position. Responsibilities:As a Superintendent, your duties will include but not be limited to:1. Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they operate efficiently and achieve their objectives.2. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.3. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.4. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they are performing their roles effectively and adhering to all safety standards.5. Reviewing work progress on a daily basis, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring solutions are implemented promptly.6. Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.7. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.8. Analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks.9. Ensuring the project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.Qualifications:To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.2. Proven experience in the multifamily sector, wood framing, and finishing superintendent roles.3. Previous experience working as a superintendent for a General Contractor.4. Strong knowledge of building processes and construction regulations.5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.6. The ability to make important decisions under pressure.7. A strong understanding of construction management processes.8. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field would be an advantage.10.
