are looking for qualified and experienced Certified School
Counselors in Central Florida.In-person counseling at schools in
the following counties: Orange and PolkPart-time and full-time
schedules during regular school hoursDiverse students in grades
K-12Service multiple grade levels and effectively provide students,
staff, and parents with clinical, therapeutic, and specialized
counseling services and mental health resourcesOur School

studentsSchool Counselor Job Duties:Counsel individual or small
groups of students in multiple grade levels in a face-to-face
school setting.Conduct individual, small group, and classroom (when
appropriate) guidance counseling with students with signed parental
consent. Counseling may focus on academic, emotional, behavioral,
or developmental issues to promote enhanced school
functioning.Provide support to families, classroom teachers, school
principal and other school personnel to maximize effectiveness of
services.Ensure supervision of students at all times, including
escorting students safely to and from classrooms/learning stations.
Climbing stairs and light lifting may be required.Perform data
entry in a timely fashion to meet deadlines (student attendance,
progress reports, parent and classroom teacher communication forms,
compliance documentation).Establish and maintain student forms and
files as required by company, local, state, and federal
agencies.Maintain consistent communication with company
supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents.Other
duties as assigned.School Counselor Requirements:One of the
following is required: FL DOE-issued School Counselor
Certificate/Statement of Eligibility; DOH-issued Mental Health
License ( LMHC, LMFT, LCSW)Master Degree in a Counseling
FieldExperience with counseling children and/or studentsWillingness
and ability to work with various grade levelsWorking knowledge of
MS Office and Zoom/Teams preferredA passion to help students!About
