-3-6+ month contract / extendable and perm possible with good performance.

MAC Support and Deployment Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Description: Refresh of desktop, laptop and printers Includes hardware refresh, peripheral refresh, data backup. May include installation of external peripherals. Analyze and perform repairs related to Mac systems, operating issues, and their peripherals. Install, configure, and fix macOS and interact with their users and guide them on queries and issues related to hardware and software.

Experience in working with Apple's Remote Support technology, Apple Remote Desktop, Mac OS, MS Office software for Mac and Mac imaging solutions. Experience with JAMF and Apple Business Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:

--- Responsible for diagnosing computer hardware issues.

--- Responsible for diagnosing computer software issues.

--- Responsible for repairing and replacing computer hardware components as needed.

--- Responsible for staying current on necessary training as directed by supervisor.

--- Responsible for creating repair cases with hardware manufacturers and completing repairs according to specified protocols.

--- Responsible to updating and tracking end-user reported issues from submission to resolution using Service Now

--- Responsible for updating Service Request Status and communicating with end-users on Re Status.

--- Responsible for preparing and issuing Mac laptops to all cast members

Skills:

--- Attention to detail (Asset information must be accurate)

--- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Products (word, excel, PowerPoint)

--- Strong customer service skills (face to face)

--- Strong communication skills ( team members and team leaders)

--- Ability to work under minimal supervision

--- Ability to work long hours and out in the field

--- IT problem solving must have experience working with modern Apple/Mac Computer Hardware.

--- Must have macOS configuration and/or administration experience.

--- Must have basic understanding of basic Computer Networking protocols; DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP.

Recommended Qualifications:

--- 2-4yrs of experience with Apple IT field support

--- Apple/Mac Certifications or the ability and desire to obtain them preferred

--- 2-4 yrs. Experience utilizing the Microsoft Toolset

--- 2-4 yrs Experience and working knowledge of data backups
