Job Description:

An online educational media provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Educational Media Production Editor.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on other production editors' projects
Create production schedules
Mentor new members of the department and work with the Vendor Coordinator to help train new vendors and freelancers
Required Skills:

4-year college degree in communications, publishing, or other related field, or
Combination of relevant education and experience
2 years work experience in the publishing industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong skills in markup languages (HTML, AsciiDoc, etc.) or InDesign and/or XML editing tools for typesetting
Strong skills in Adobe Acrobat
