Job Description:

*Seeking a Dental Office Front Office Team Member / Practice Coodinator*

We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join our motivated and ambitious team. We are currently seeking a *Front Office Team Member / Practice Coordinator* who is ready to take their career to the next level by joining our dedicated team of professionals. You will be expected to quickly adapt to your role and all responsibilities outlined below so you can immediately implement strategies and processes to elevate the patient experience as well as the overall operations of the dental office.

_*Job Responsibilities: *_

_ - Represent the company's vision and mission by encouraging the pursuit of excellence everyday_

_ - Support the daily clinical and non-clinical operations of the office by enforcing office policies and protocols and overseeing the delivery of quality dental care_

_ - Work Accounts Receivable to a healthy status_

_ - Present treatment and communicate financial policy along with payment options to patients_

_ - Process insurance claims_

_ - Monitor patient satisfaction in office and via satisfaction surveys; Act with urgency to resolve any quality control issues in accordance with the patients' needs, company policies, and regulated standards, offering feedback to the team as necessary_

_ - Proactively educate patients on the importance of their oral health and recommended treatment to increase awareness and case acceptance rates_

_ - Streamline operational procedures and implement solutions to increase office productivity and ensure optimal efficiency_

_ - Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality within the office_

_ - Maintain all hygiene and safety regulations as mandated by OSHA_

_ - Participate and lead meetings, trainings, and huddles with staff_

_ - Audit schedules for errors and/or inconsistencies and follow-up with team to course correct as needed_

_ - Manage the blocking/unblocking of the schedule to reflect scheduling needs and to maximize productivity and efficiency_

_ - Manage unscheduled treatment reports and ensure patients are followed up with timely_

_ - Create challenges to encourage and motivate the team to ensure production goals are met daily_

_ - Maintain the appearance and functionality of the office; Follow-up on the resolution of any item(s) that need troubleshooting or repair_

_ - Monitor supply inventory and ordering as needed; Ensure all items remain organized and properly stored_

_ - Collaborate with HR on staffing within the office; communicate all staff tardiness, absenteeism, and coverage with HR_

_ - Oversee day-to-day employee relations, performance, and productivity; Ensure appropriate resources, support, and training materials are created and/or made available as needed_

_ - Conduct periodic meetings to reconnect with staff and complete annual performance evaluations_

_ - Discipline insubordinate staff and follow protocol to submit appropriate documentation_

_ - Provide coverage in any position within the office as needed_

_ - All other duties as assigned_

_*Job Requirements: *_

_ - Previous supervisory experience within a dental office is required_

_ - Knowledge of dental terminology, dental office procedures, and Practice Management Software programs (Open Dental Experience a Plus!)_

_ - Flexibility to work between the hours of 8am-6pm as needed_

_ - Must be available to work Monday through Friday_

_*Job Skills: *_

_ - Customer / Patient service and care are paramount in this special (mainly) fee-for-service practice_

_ - Deep knowledge and extensive experience with insurance claims processing._

_ - Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills_

_ - Excellent oral and written communication skills_

_ - Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, and be proactive in the day-to-day operations of the office_

_ - Ability to solve problems, provide immediate solutions, and make sound decisions independently_

_ - Strong desire to maximize opportunities and exceed goals_

_ - High degree of professionalism when building relationships with patients and team members_

_ - Strong attention-to-detail and sense of urgency_

_ - Ability to give and receive constructive criticism in a positive manner_
