This role also functions as back-up for the routine Medical Receptionist functions, such as, appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answering incoming calls and other related clerical functions.Position Location: 202 North Parkavenue Apoka FL 23703 Suite 100 Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pmPrimary Responsibilities:Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customerRepresents the Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and proceduresUses, protects, and discloses patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standardsResponsible to accurately perform and professionally monitor the handling of all front desk operations; including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, balancing daily collections, addressing routine inquiries and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnelMonitors all incoming telephone calls for prompt and courteous handlingRepresents the Company in a professional manner following all policies and proceduresAssists with the inventory, maintenance of business office supplies and the compilation of business office reportsAssists in the completion of assigned administrative reports according to Company procedureTrains new teammates and works with the Center Administrator to assure compliance for all new staffAssists Administrator with contacting all new members for prompt schedulingSustain consistent, punctual and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as assignedAbility to travel may be requiredWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?Put it all together - competitive base pay, a full and comprehensive benefit program, performance rewards, and a management team who demonstrates their commitment to your success.
