Job Description We are looking for a Scheduler for our multi-disciplinary medical office. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations and facilitating appointment times between patients and health care providers. Coordinators will work directly with patients to set up appointment times and determine the length of time the provider will need to meet with the patient. Applicants must possess excellent communication, organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail. Must be a team player. You must also be able to think quickly on your feet to determine if a patient visit is appropriate for the office. It is required that you can effectively deal with both patients and providers to contribute to an overall-positive experience for the patient during their visit. Applicants must be proficient in healthcare computer systems and Microsoft Office. Must be detail focused. Physical Requirements: Frequently required to stand, sit and walk. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch down. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk may be required. Must have the ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times, occasionally move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
