work.(sm) The Senior Instructional Designer is responsible for the
effective design and development of a wide range of interactive
online learning products at Optum360. - Using text, data, graphics,
sound, animation and other digital and visual effects, this
individual expertly creates robust simulations and game-based
learning appropriate for courses in the revenue cycle management
eLearning curriculum. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute*
from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of complex simulations, scenario-based cases,
and animated videos using digital, interactive models of
applications
- Create online learning , assessments, and learning resources
that effectively incorporate adult learning principles to ensure
individual performance expectations, skill application, and
organizational business goals and needs have been achieved
- Introduce innovative design and effectively leverage technology
to deliver on instructional goals
- Design rapid prototypes to validate design concepts with
stakeholders
- Collaborate with peers, leaders, and various business
stakeholders to determine necessary project scope and delivery
expectations
- Manage the design of multiple products and ensure compliance to
all project deadlines
- Communicate project status and risks to leaders and course
development partners
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time
constraints while upholding working relationships with SMEs,
stakeholders and other project team members You'll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of design and development experience from concept to
delivery, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Excellent concepting, graphic design and typography skills
- Experience in optimizing graphics and media for the web
- Solid understanding of user-centered design and usability to
deliver intuitive graphics and online learning for adult
learners
- Expert at preparing scripts and developing storyboards in
Storyline 360 using Articulate Review
- Experience in HTML coding and experience with web standards
interactivity and media integration
- Solid prioritization and time management skills to balance
multiple demands
- Proven ability to grasp new concepts quickly, an extreme
attention to detail, strong communication skills Preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design (graphics communication, new media
design, instructional design) or related field
- Degree in instructional design or educational technology
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Storyline 3.0, or
similar software
- Proven familiarity with learning management systems
- Proven successful collaboration and work experience with
learning and performance solutions teams/education, training and
development teams/eLearning teams
- Excellent knowledge of adult learning theories and
instructional design models
- Experience with Agile ADDIE methodology and rapid
development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically
PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams

Group's Telecommuter Policy. Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada
Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100
to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is
$72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
