The Missile Defense Programs (MDP) Department within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) Directorate here in Woburn, Massachusetts is searching for a Control Account Manager for the AN/TPY-2 program. This role will partner with AN/TPY-2 SI&T team leadership to manage the team effort from both a technical perspective in addition to being responsible for the cost account management. This position requires the ability to coordinate and effectively collaborate across multiple business areas and functions, as well as with customer interfaces as part of working groups and program reviews.Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Work with the Program Management Team in the preparation and maintenance of the work break down structure (WBS), Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) tailoring, internal contracts and customer deliverables.
  • Prepare estimate at complete (EACs) activities, and support engineering review development and presentation. Ensure understanding and adherence to solid engineering development life cycle fundamentals. Support gate/independent review coordination and execution.
  • Coordinate and direct the collection and analysis of metrics, given the customer expectations and functional reporting expectations
  • Manage financial, quality, risk, technology, and schedule performance using the approved business model and management tools including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), IPDS, PRISM, etc.
  • Use approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems with sufficient time for corrective action and ensure the meeting of contract commitments.
  • Travel may be required.
    Qualifications You Must Have:
    • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
    • 4 years of systems engineering experience with 1+ years' as a Control Account Manager (CAM), including the preparation and completion of EACs. Current EVMS certification, level 1 and 2
    • Demonstrated understanding of program management tools such as EVMS, Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management
    • Experience working with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team as well as the customer
    • Prior experience with Gate Reviews, especially Gates 4-9
    • Prior experience presenting at meetings
    • Working knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Excel and MS Project
    • Existing Secret ClearanceQualifications We Value:Prior experience with the design, development and/or test of radar systems
      • Hardware Development, Software Development, System Integration and Test, or System Verification
      • Independently complete complex assignments and develop cross mission area solutions
      • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills
      • Proposal experience
      • Possesses in-depth understanding of the DOD environment and acquisition process
