Job Description Position Summary The Accounts Payable
Clerk/Administrator is responsible for the payment of goods and
services purchased by the organization. This includes processing,
monitoring payments, expenditures, reconciling monthly statements
and providing these services in an effective and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conducts routine data entry
management for accounts payable records. Reviews billing
statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts
accounting team of any discrepancies. Enters vendor information and
data into accounting software system, other computer software
systems; verifies that invoice information is entered correctly.
Answers vendor questions by researching accounts and resolves
discrepancies. Facilitates routine monthly payments as approved.
Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expenses and
other financial reports with account balances and other office
records. Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling
monthly statements and transactions. Calculates monthly commission
payments for sales representatives and submits to HR for
processing. Perform general clerical duties including filing,
scanning, mailing and other duties as required to support the
accounting department. Competencies To perform the job

Qualifications Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
specifically in Excel Quick Books, Point of Sale, and Inventory
Management Software Platforms Education and/or Experience: High
school diploma or equivalent required; Business or Accounting
degree preferred. 3 years of accounting experience required. Work
Environment: Physical Demands: The physical demands described here
represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully
perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable

effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and
carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by
brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Works is
performed in a normal office environment where there are little or
no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or
discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. While
performing the duties of this job, prolonged periods sitting at a
desk and working on a computer required. Work schedule is 8 AM - 5
PM Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends. Other
