Job Description Introduction Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this UX Researcher position. This position is a contract opportunity and is expected to be Fully Remote for a duration of five months or greater, working with a company in the education sector. Summary The UX Researcher will be responsible for supporting research team members in projects as necessary, which include but are not limited to the following; Supporting data collection and data cleaning; Communicating with company internal staff and school district contacts as needed; Helping to compile results and develop research presentations. Job Description: Reviewing research literature relevant to products; Identifying and summarizing the most pertinent information from the research literature; -Attending editorial and research team meetings to build knowledge base on the theories underlying the development of related products; Writing descriptions of how products reflect best practices and research; Putting the literature and product descriptions together into foundations documents Research Papers: Writing formal research reports from analyses done by our team or consultants; Supporting the design process for research papers. Required Skills: Presentation Skills Qualitative Studies Data Collection Usability Test User Research Strong multi-tasking skills Professional interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and excellent writing skills A passion for educational research and improving student achievement A positive, proactive, team player attitude Education: Degree in education, psychology, or statistics with specialization in Early Childhood/ Elementary and/or Adolescent literacy research.
