Our client is looking to fill full time positions as either a
LCSW or LMHC for a hospital setting. Willing and readiness to dive
into a fast paced hospital environment. Developing and diagnosing
comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment and clinical impressions,
for disability and impairment to age appropriate patients/family
needs and concerns.Being able to diagnosis mental/emotional
disorders using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental
Disorders. Along with developing treatment intervention plans with
clinical impressions. The plan is diagnostically driven and
outcomes focused with the patient/family and healthcare
team.Position Summary:Work with patients to promote optimum mental
and emotional health.Looking for those willing to work 3p-11p an
- Knowledge in creating an effective working relationship with
patient/family to engage, collaborate, advocate and problem solve
in order to support and enhance their mental health strengths and
- Utilizes differential diagnostic skills and employs various
clinical treatment interventions included but are not limited to
crisis intervention, solution focused therapy, individual, couples,
family and group psychotherapy, grief and bereavement counseling,
play therapy, sand tray therapy, EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy
and mental status exams.
- Initiate Baker Act.
- Facilitate Marchman Act when appropriate.
- Facilitates patient's psychosocial adjustment along the
continuum of care and transition to next level of care.
- Provide mental health education, information, consultation and
professional support regarding patient/family needs to the
healthcare team members and colleagues within the department.
- Demonstrate initiative and leadership in developing mental
health services which respond to patient care demands.
- Identify practice based on continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain an up-to-date, accurate and appropriate record of
mental health activities in patients' medical chart, which does not
violate confidentiality..Education/Training:Master's degree from an
accredited school of Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology or
Marriage and Family Therapy is
required.Licensure/Certification:Maintains Florida state (Chapter
491 Florida Statutes) licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker or Licensed Medical Health Therapist.Experience:Two (2)
years of direct clinical experience preferable in a health or
mental health setting with an emphasis on population to be served
in the assigned area
