The Desktop Administrator position supports personal computers and mobile devices at Ripley's. The individual is responsible for ensuring the product quality of the PCs delivered to our personnel. We are looking for a high energy individual who is willing to grow with our company. Customer service is the key to success in this role, in which excellent communication and computer technical skills are required. Candidates should love the attractions industry.

The ideal candidate will understand employee support and be familiar with setup, configuration and management of Windows computers, Macs, and mobile devices. The candidate should be familiar with systems deployment, systems management, anti-virus/malware, productivity, and mobile device management software packages. The Desktop Administrator will work with the Network Manager, Systems Administrator, and Point of Sale team on projects and support issues. The candidate must be a self-starter with initiative to research new developments in software, hardware, and systems management methodologies to improve Ripley's IT environment. This position will require some travel and on-call support.

The position is a remote/work from home one, which will require good internet speed and availability to support and work with Ripley's employees. Even though the position is a remote/work from home one, onsite work to support projects, employees, and meetings will be required at times.

Able to effectively manage the day-to-day issues along with project work.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Configure Window and Mac personnel computers.
Administer and manage cell phones.
Manage helpdesk queue and assigned helpdesk tickets.
Use Windows Deployment Server (WDS) to create, maintain, and deploy consistent system images to computers.
Create documentation for the setup/configuration of applicable desktop systems, processes, and user support.
Administer KACE system management platform, configure & maintain computer patching schedules.
Deploy and manage Advanced Endpoint Protection on computers.
Administer and maintain Active Directory user & computer accounts.
Install and manage PC backups.
Other job duties may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Four-year college diploma or One to three years of equivalent technology experience.
Working knowledge of Windows 10
Working knowledge of Mac OS 10.15 and newer
Working knowledge of PC hardware with the ability to diagnose problems and repair computers.
Working knowledge of iOS and Android for mobile devices.
Experience installing/supporting Office 365 and other productivity applications.
Experience with Azure Active Directory user and group management.
Knowledge of system imaging software.
Knowledge of KACE, systems management software, a plus.
Knowledge of group policy is a plus.
