The Salesforce System Administrator reports to the Director of Business Applications and is responsible for helping our company succeed by managing and improving our Salesforce tenant.MISSION:Your mission is to manage the Alegeus Salesforce tenant and play a leading role in overhauling how it is configured and maintained. As a system administrator, you will be responsible for improving the configuration and maintenance procedures to achieve a best-in-class future state. As an experienced system administrator, you will also coach and support junior team members to support their growth and advancement.OUTCOMES:Create and maintain detailed governance documentation for the Alegeus Salesforce tenant that outlines roles and responsibilities, data and security policies, and support procedures.Play a leading role in a large cleanup effort of the Alegeus Salesforce tenant in coordination with other departments. The cleanup effort will include identify, archiving, and removing orphaned applications, objects, reports, roles, profiles, and permission sets.Play a leading role in defining and implementing a best-in-class future state of the Alegeus Salesforce tenant in close coordination with Sales Operations.Perform day-to-day administration tasks such as:Configuration changes to new or existing objects such as creating new fields, new record types, and page layoutsCreate, update, and decommission user accountsMaintain permissions, roles, and profilesCreate new reports and dashboardsInstall and maintain 3rd party apps from the AppExchange marketplaceCreate new applications as needed to support operations. Applications may include workflow, integration with other systems, or require development such as lightning web components.Support 3rd party applications in Salesforce such as FinancialForce, Marketo, Evisort, and Conga.Develop standard operating procedure documentation to be able to transfer knowledge and responsibilities to team members during absencesCreate detailed project plans utilizing appropriate resource levels and secure stakeholder approvalMonitor license and storage utilization, and make recommendations to management when change may be neededProvide regular status reports to managementPerform periodic audits of the Salesforce tenantWork closely with Sales Operations and Marketing teams to support their workCross-train other team members on Salesforce administrationEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BA/BS requiredExtensive work experience in managing a Salesforce tenant (ideally 3-5 years)Experience with other business applications such as Freshworks (FreshDesk or FreshService), Workday, or FinancialForce preferred by not requiredExperience creating and managing integrations to and from Salesforce is highly desirableExperience writing and maintaining system documentation and standard operating proceduresExperience developing workflows, on Salesforce or other platformsPERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: A positive attitude and positive self-expectancy in all situations with a high stress tolerancePassionate about the power of teams as a leader and team memberA passion for Consumer Driven Healthcare, behavioral economics, the value we create for the end user and ultimately the positive impact we make on their lives on a daily basisLife-long learner with strong interest in learning new things and comfort in pushing new boundariesA critical thinker with a passion for organizing and problem solvingA hands-on, detail-orientated leader who understands and embraces technologyStrong decision-making, conflict resolution and negotiation skillsMust be adaptable and embrace changeMust be able to learn quickly and self-educateby Jobble
