OVERVIEW
The Orlando Economic Partnership (the Partnership) is a public/ private, not-for-profit economic and community development organization that supports the Orlando region. GENERAL
This job description is intended primarily as an illustration of the type of work to be performed by the Navigator. The Navigator is a member of the Corporate Engagement Team and reports to the Vice President of Talent & Community Development.

Partnership employees are expected to provide their unique talents and abilities to solve specific problems or to address specific questions outside their job description related either to their team's mission or in support of an organizational goal. They may be asked to participate in a variety of ad-hoc assignments and are expected to be flexible in their work practices and supportive of other team members. The Office Navigator is expected to be a critical thinker and contribute relevant input into team tactics, technical systems, and procedures and conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

All employees of the Partnership are expected to familiarize themselves with the Partnership Personnel Manual and to conduct themselves in accordance with its policies and procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Navigator will act as "first impressions" point of contact for the Orlando Economic Partnership. Key responsibilities include navigating investor, board member and guest requests, and managing the daily operations of the Partnership's office space. The Navigator will also support the Director of Events and play a key role in the day-of execution of Partnership meetings and programs. The role requires the ability to solve problems efficiently and remain organized in a dynamic office environment.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Customer Service
Ability to navigate and connect guests with key staff, volunteer-leaders or community-based information.
Effective communicator with in-person and remote staff members, as well as office guests.
Manage and maintain office space; including serving as the primary point of contact with the building management and office vendors.
Support Director of Events with day-of event logistics, including managing registration and event set-up and break-down
Adapt to new technology and lead in-house adoption of office technology to increase efficiency.
Manage and maintain the Orlando Economic Partnership's Master Calendar, including communicating with staff about external partner events and programs.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES

Ability to manage many priorities independently
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred
