What you get to do:


The VP of Revenue Operations is a significant contributor to overall park performance, and is responsible for the Food & Beverage, Merchandise, and Ancillary Revenue departments. This position will consistently engage with park and corporate leadership on strategic and tactical initiatives that drive revenue, EBITDA, and guest satisfaction.


Financial performance:
  • Consistently engage with corporate leadership on revenue performance analysis, strategic and tactical changes to products, processes, and people.
  • Labor management and productivity
  • Manage cost of sales to reduce shrinkage, waste, and damages
  • Manage operating expenses
  • Capital project ideation and execution
  • Inventory management
  • Consumer event planning in coordination with park and corporate leadership
  • Banqueting and catering events


Leadership:
  • Creating a positive culture, which includes motivating, educating, and positively recognizing team members
  • Training & development
  • Collaboration with Human Resources on team member performance
  • Ensure team members represent SEA standards related to guest interaction and appearance


Guest satisfaction:
  • Responsible for driving guest satisfaction through anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations


Health and safety:
  • Ensure that safety of guests and team members is a priority
  • Ensure that all facilities and ambassadors are operating in compliance within appropriate health and safety regulations

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Primarily work outdoors and indoors in all different weather conditions
• May stand, walk, and move swiftly for several hours at a time; and required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work long hours including evenings and weekends
• Must travel to the park location and adhere to the companies time and attendance policy


What it takes to succeed:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a Salaried Leadership role in a high-volume, fast paced operation. Current Director or VP roles desired.


PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Director or Vice President role in a theme park or similar environment
• College degree in a hospitality field


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Advanced Food & Beverage and Merchandise knowledge
• Advanced theme park or similar- multi-outlet venue knowledge
• Advanced understanding of how a P&L operates
• Knowledge of Labor cost management


REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Multi-Tasking- Must be able to multi-task at a basic level
• Time Management — managing one's own time and adhering to the time and attendance policy
• Speaking — talking to others to convey information effectively.
• Listening- anticipating guests’ needs and listening to their requests
• Writing — Must have the ability to write down orders and place them in the POS system
• Flexibility- The ability to execute other duties as requested by management.
• Supervising- Must be able to provide motivation, education, training and positive recognition to other team members
• Organization- Strong organizational skills needed to execute performance
• Customer Service- Strong skills needed when communicating with other team members and guests
