Opportunities
Serves as an international contracts negotiator and administrator
to support the growing C4ISR market segment of the Rotary and
Mission Systems C6ISR line of business. The successful candidate
will be responsible for contract negotiation of multiple domestic
and international programs including EADGE-T, advising program
management and finance teams, as well as personnel from other
functional areas (i.e., legal, supply chain, pricing, etc.). Job
responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the
following:
- Reviewing and approving contracts work product such as proposals,
terms and conditions, and modification documents for multiple type
contracts for both direct commercial sales and domestic FMS
customers(CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, T&M & FFP)
- Ensuring that contracts and IWTAs are negotiated and coordinated
in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, statutory laws,
and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures
- Reviewing and evaluating customer requests for proposal and
revisions to contracts and IWTAs
- All aspects of contract administration including proposal support
and negotiation, post- award contract administration, scope
management, and contract closeout
- Developing and executing negotiation strategies
- Providing contractual guidance to junior employees as
required
- Preparing and presenting briefings to management and customers,
and working with team members to do the same
- Understanding, communicating, and implementing strategic
initiatives across the team
- Coordinating personnel matters, such as employee recruitment,
selection, training, work assignments, performance assessments, and
recognition/ disciplinary actions
- Developing productive working relationships with internal and
external customers
- Backfill colleagues on programs with similar clearance level
Develops and applies solutions to unusually complex problems which
require the regular use of a high degree of ingenuity, creativity,
and innovation. Solutions may serve as precedent for future
decisions. Reviews and evaluates customer requests for proposal or
revisions to contracts; provides risk assessments and offers
alternative approaches to mitigate risks, including alternative
contractual language; evaluates and coordinates proposals;
investigates and reconciles significant contract changes involving
cost, specifications, schedules, etc.
Maintains high standard of ethics. Understands and implements
Lockheed Martin corporate and local policies and procedures.
Candidate should be a self-starter who requires minimal supervision
and has the ability to comprehend complex financial and business
concepts and suggest viable alternatives during negotiation. Should
be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals
and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate
will be required to become familiar with the unique program
requirements in minimal time.
Requires international travel not limited to Middle Eastern
countries - approx. 25-50%. Job may require additional duties that
may or may not be outside specific area of expertise. The
willingness that the successful candidate exhibits to work as a
team and to meet challenges will be the key to success.
Basic Qualifications:
- International contract experience, specifically with Middle East
countries
- Expert Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
- Intellectual Property knowledge
- Experience working with multiple contract types
- Utilizes excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers,
integrated program team members, and industry peers.
- Candidate willing and able to engage on routine and unique
problems/issues to help develop solutions
- Effectively organizes, prioritizes and manages multiple
assignments and priorities.
- Desired skills are the additional skills that help narrow down a
qualified candidate list

full-time telecommuter position which offers the flexibility to
work away from a Lockheed Martin facility, usually a home office,

with the leader. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety
of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to
our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five
day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed
schedules provide employees with additional time away from the
office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule
