Job Description:
Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for the strategic
oversight, lifecycle management, and operational performance of
Club Assist’s fleet across North America. This role ensures the
fleet is optimized to support business operations through effective
procurement, maintenance, compliance, and cost management. This
position partners cross-functionally with Operations, Finance,
Safety, and external vendors to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable,
compliant, and aligned with evolving business needs. The Fleet
Manager plays a critical role in balancing operational readiness,
financial discipline, and risk mitigation while driving continuous
improvement across fleet programs. Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role does not have direct reports but serves as the primary
owner of fleet strategy and execution, influencing internal
stakeholders and managing key external vendor relationships.
Duties/Responsibilities: Fleet Strategy & Lifecycle Management Owns
the full lifecycle of the fleet, including forecasting,
procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal Partners with
business leaders to assess current and future fleet needs, ensuring
alignment with operational requirements and growth plans Evaluates
fleet aging, utilization, and performance trends to proactively
plan replacements and optimize asset value Procurement & Vendor
Management Leads end-to-end vehicle procurement, including
specification development, sourcing, and coordination with
upfitters and suppliers Builds and manages strategic relationships
with key vendors (e.g., leasing companies, upfitters, maintenance
providers) to ensure service quality and cost effectiveness Ensures
all capital purchases align with company approval processes and
financial planning requirements Maintenance & Operational
Efficiency Oversees fleet maintenance programs to ensure vehicles
are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently Partners with
internal leaders to review and approve repairs, ensuring decisions
are cost-effective and operationally sound Coordinates alternative
solutions (e.g., rentals) to minimize business disruption during
vehicle downtime Compliance, Risk & Governance Ensures compliance
with all DOT requirements, licensing, titling, and regulatory
obligations Maintains accurate and complete fleet records,
including asset tracking, compliance documentation, and reporting
Supports risk mitigation efforts through alignment with Safety and
Insurance programs Fleet Technology & Data Insights Oversees
telematics and fleet systems to monitor vehicle performance,
utilization, and driver behavior Analyzes data to identify trends,
risks, and opportunities for improved efficiency, safety, and cost
control Maintains and continuously improves fleet tracking tools
(e.g., Smartsheet or equivalent systems) Financial Management &
Reporting Partners with Finance to ensure accurate asset tracking,
cost allocation, and reporting within ERP systems Develops and
manages fleet-related budgets, including capital planning,
maintenance costs, and fuel spend Oversees fuel card programs,
reporting, and compliance, including fuel and highway use tax
filings Stakeholder Collaboration Builds strong partnerships with
Operations, Finance, Safety, and other internal teams to align
fleet strategies with business priorities Serves as the primary
point of contact for fleet-related needs, providing guidance and
solutions that support operational success Core Competencies:

judgments; uses data and logic to inform decisions Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Automotive Management,
or related field preferred 3–5 years of experience in fleet
management, asset management, or related operational role Working
knowledge of DOT regulations, fleet compliance, and vehicle
lifecycle management Experience with fleet systems, telematics, and
data analysis tools Strong financial acumen, including budgeting
and cost analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills preferred.
