Under general direction of the company President this role is
responsible for the global culture, resources, process, and
strategic vision for the engineers, designers and scientist across
the company. Works closely with the business units and product
lines across the enterprise for the definition and implementation
of strategy, product development, IRAD, allocation of resources and
staff, pursuit of new business, execution of programs, and
technical reviews. Directly manages all technical resources
ensuring all are properly allocated to projects/programs.
Responsible for transformational initiatives around technology and
product development. This position typically works under little
supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position will
exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Responsible for the global technical resources, operating
culture, tools and processes for the engineers, designers, artists,
technical producers and scientist across the company.
* Responsible for development and support of digital platforms
* Responsible for applications and execution of digital factory
methodologies across business platforms
* Responsible for ensuring proper DevSecOps across the company.
* Responsible for the growth, mentorship and development of
* Directly manages a team of Chief Technical Directors aligned to
each strategic business unit
* Responsible for managing the IRAD portfolio across the company
including providing a tie between company strategy and day to day
* Responsible for reviewing and synthesizing market research for
technical applicability into the company strategy and product lines
across the company.
* Responsible for generating, managing, reviewing and approving
product and technology roadmaps across the company.
* Responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise level
product and technology architecture.
* Responsible for processes and operating culture across all
technical functional groups including development methodologies,
metrics, tools and review processes.
* Responsible for solutioning during all capture and strategic

* Works cooperatively with the business area VP, product
management, program management, and business development to develop
and implement the business area strategic plan.
* Reviews all business area technology solutions and technology
* Conducts color team review for strategic efforts across the

significant issues within the business area.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college degree in technology or related technical
discipline, plus fifteen years of related technical or engineering
experience including five years of project engineering/management,
program management, or other supervisory responsibility. Must have
a broad background in engineering, science, and development
activities. Advanced technical and analytical skills necessary to
organize, plan and execute multiple programs. Commercial and/or
military experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) and digital
platforms is highly desired. Experience with various Agile
development frameworks desired. Advanced engineering degree or MBA
is also highly desirable. Proven ability to lead cross-functional
program teams. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in
writing, make presentations and be highly proficient with modern
computer software tools, and conduct negotiations with customers,
subcontractors and vendors. Must be able to demonstrate the mental
agility to effectively work with a variety of associate and
customer personalities and situations. Must have ability to work
under project deadlines and associated cost and schedule
constraints with a professional attitude and control of emotions.
Must be able to travel frequently, at least 50%. Must be able to
obtain a Security Clearance.
