JOB OVERVIEW ThreatLocker is building an advanced IT team dedicated to conducting test programs, including special projects, conducting product research, developing test scripts, and deploying IT systems. This specialized role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from assisting customers with advanced and complex issues to research and test projects. Duties include deploying O365 scripts, API integrations, networking, Active Directory, O365, and understanding many IT systems. We're seeking an ideal candidate with extensive experience, ideally from an MSP background or corporate I.T. background that is used to working with a large number of solutions. Preferably a high-end Level 2 or Level 3 engineer looking for a career transition. As a Special Projects IT Engineer you are responsible for but not limited to: Diagnose and resolve complex customer issues related to IT systems. Conduct in-depth research on products and technologies to enhance company offerings. Develop and execute test scripts for various IT systems and applications. Deploy and manage IT systems, including O365, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of API solutions. Provide expert-level support to customers, addressing their technical inquiries and challenges. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve company operations. Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing. The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment or a corporate I.T. background. Proficiency in deploying and managing O365, Active Directory, and networking infrastructure. Strong understanding of API integrations and scripting languages. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. Proven track record of conducting research and implementing innovative solutions. Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or equivalent are a plus. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Willingness to adapt to new technologies and embrace continuous learning. WORKING CONDITIONS The duties described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus. A background check and drug/substance screening are required after a conditional offer. Employment will proceed only upon receiving clear results from both. ThreatLocker also conducts randomized drug and substance testing approximately every 60 days, in line with the same screening standards.
