Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in global defense and aerospace
systems, is currently seeking a Senior Applied AI Software Engineer
to join our innovative Data Science & AI team. This role is vital
to the development and integration of AI-driven solutions into our
state-of-the-art defense systems. The selected candidate will
collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and
deploy complex AI algorithms and software solutions that meet our
rigorous standards for safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. This
is a unique opportunity to contribute to national security

supportive and ethical work environment. Design and develop
advanced AI software systems integrated into defense platforms.
Lead AI projects from conception to deployment, ensuring compliance
with technical requirements and industry standards. Collaborate
with systems engineers and other stakeholders to define and refine
AI functionality. Conduct robust testing and validation of AI
algorithms to ensure system safety and performance. Stay abreast of
technological advancements in AI and machine learning and assess
their feasibility for integration. Proficiency in programming
languages such as Python, C++, and Java. Strong understanding of
machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and related
technologies. Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or
PyTorch. Ability to work with large-scale data systems and
databases. Keen analytical and troubleshooting skills. Medical
