If you're ready to embark on a journey of continuous growth and contribute to meaningful solutions, we want you on our team.As a Technical Product Specialist with AWC you will be responsible for promoting and demonstrating core automation solutions with our Account Managers to customers in Florida. This includes receiving factory training and becoming the SME on these Industrial technologies. The Technical Product specialist will often work with customers to meet, train and select solutions for their projects and applications. Technical Product Specialists coordinate with Account Managers to demonstrate sensors, wireless networks, data monitoring, edge devices, valve banks, actuators, and machine reviews. These are generally referred to as Factory Floor productivity systems for a variety of industrial applications predominantly in the Water, Aerospace, OEM, Entertainment and Machine Builder Industry. The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills.How youll make an impact: Technical Support and Troubleshooting:Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, addressing questions and resolving issues related to automation productsTroubleshoot and diagnose problems, offering solutions and recommendations Product Training and Demonstrations:Conduct product training sessions for customers, sales teams, and other stakeholdersCreate and deliver product demonstrations, showcasing features and benefitsDevelop training materials to support product training and customer educationBuilding, assembling and testing solutions for Digital Lab based on new engineering products and technologiesConduct regular On-Site visits to reinforce the AWC value proposition Sales and Customer Interaction:Collaborate with sales teams to support pre-sales activitiesParticipate in customer meetings to understand their needs and recommend suitable automation solutionsProvide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns Product Development and Feedback:Work closely with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback from customers and sales teamsContribute to product roadmaps and development plans based on customer needs and market trendsParticipate in product testing and validation to ensure quality and functionality Technical Documentation and Content Creation:Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and FAQsEnsure technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to customers and internal teamsSkills youll need:Proven experience in technical support, product management or related role in the automation industrySolid knowledge base of automation products, industrial equipment or related technologyExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAbility and confidence to conduct presentationsProficient with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to learn new technologies, demonstrate and discuss with customersHeres what will set you apart:Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics EngineeringFormer Industry experience as an Account Manager or Application EngineerAbility to develop strong relationships with Manufacturer PartnersKnowledge of PLCs, Drives, HMI, Networks OR Manufacturers such as Rockwell, Schneider, Keyence, Omron, Phoenix, Weidmuller, Beckhoff, Danfoss, Sick, Banner, Siemens, Eaton, Rittal, SMC or Festo.The RewardsEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)401(K) MatchCompetitive PayMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance PackageLife InsurancePaid Time Off and Holiday PayCareer Development Opportunities About AWCAs employee-owners, we seek to develop fulfilling careers by pushing ourselves to deliver better, safer, more effective automation solutions.
