Job Description:
We are looking for someone who is able to apply proven
technical, communication, analytical, leadership, and
problem-solving skills to ensure technically sound solutions are
implemented according to set standards and processes. We're looking
for a hardworking, impactful, technical person who can work
independently or with a diverse team. The Ideal candidate will have
a good eye for detail on par with high standards, coupled with a
proactive solution-oriented approach, someone who holds themselves
and their teammates accountable in a professional, collaborative
manner. Primary Responsibilities: Work independently and in concert
with the team and Managed Service Providers to conduct day-to-day
maintenance, administration of software platform(s), and
configuration updates following established procedures Identifies
root causes of operational issues and resolves independently or
through managed service partners Work closely with Business
partners and Technology teams to achieve solutions to system
challenges, including planning for new projects and events,
including capacity planning, monitoring, configuration, security,
metrics, reporting, recovery, and migration strategies Ensure
adherence to IT Security standards and provide timely updates and
remediations to IT Security activities and vulnerabilities to
Technology Leadership Provides support and facilitates multiple
levels of testing prior to the release of new and upgraded
infrastructure, products, and/or services Responsible for
documentation, communication, and monitoring Clearly communicate
technical findings, issues, and outcomes to other team members
Mobile Device Troubleshooting, Network signal Required: Hold a
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information
Systems, Engineering, or another technical field Have 3 -7 years of
progressively related experience in various types of Technical
support Experience with project management methodologies (agile,
scrum, waterfall) Proven understanding of the Software Development
Lifecycle Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies Strong
understanding of IT Security best practices and vulnerability
management Significant knowledge/experience in relevant
technologies, such as: .Net and Java/Spring Batch Enterprise
operating systems ( Windows, Unix, and Linux ) Working knowledge of
both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Db's SOA, Java/J2EE, XML,
Pearl, HTML, PHP, JSP, open source, Power Builder, Power Server,
GIT, HP ALM, UC4 Familiarity with Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP,
Azure, and VMWare) Software Performance Optimization (memory, CPU,
scaling, etc...) Experience with basic web technology management
including: Domain registration, Certificate management. 3rd Party
Hosting service providers, Encryption key management Experience
working with Payment platforms or other financial systems Mobile
Device Management and troubleshooting Soft Skills & Other
Requirements: Effectively communicate between Managers,
Architecture, Engineering, Development, and Operations as well as
any other stakeholders to implement solutions Proven experience
working with and being able to be successful in cross-functional
project teams of business analysts, developers, tech leads,
infrastructure partners, and quality assurance resources across
several teams and organizations Strong communication skills and
demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment Strong time management and prioritization skills
Preferred: Knowledge and understanding of technical architecture,
application systems design, and integration in a large
heterogeneous enterprise environment Experience working with vendor
teams to deliver high-quality results Knowledge of Supply chain and
logistics systems and processes Knowledge of Oracle Retail suite,
SEYC Gold Middleware familiarity with Weblogic/Apache TomCat, MQ
Additional Responsibilities: Participate in OrangePeople monthly
team meetings and participate in team-building efforts Contribute
to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc Contribute
content and collaborate via the OrangePeople-Wiki/Knowledge Base
