Fully remote position in the Americas (Eastern or Central time zones)

The Senior Technical Customer Consultant is a knowledgeable Python, SQL, and Cloud backend programmer who is responsible for helping BriteCore's Insurance Policy Administration customers diagnose and resolve their most complex challenges. Responsibilities

• Use debuggers, logs, stack traces, SQL, and python code to understand the behavior of the application, provide recommendations to clients, and clearly document reproducible JIRA defect reports
• Provide excellent service over the phone and in writing
• Answer complex questions about BriteCore and its use, configuration and functionality
• Staff an on-call rotation for critical incidents
  
  Skills and Requirements
  
  • 2+ Years experience in Python Backend Web Development in Enterprise, B2B SaaS companies: Programming, debugging, scripting, and Django, Web.py, or other frameworks
  • Computer Science, technical degree, or equivalent practical experience with a solid understanding of programming concepts
  • MySQL query, report writing, DBA experience
  • AWS Technologies
  • EC2, ECS and Lambda & API Gateway
  • Amazon S3 - Files and Vendor integrations
  • CloudWatch - Writing queries
  • Step Functions
  • Testing API endpoints
  • Ubuntu environment (Linux), SSH'ing into sites, running shell tools/scripts, navigation and basic administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • English intermediate/advanced - C1 CEFR is a MUST
  • Desire to learn continuously and operate in a fast-paced environment
