believes in your success. The Project Developer will be responsible
for originating and developing multiple grid-scale solar and at
times solar plus storage projects with an annual origination target
of around 1 GW per year under site control and submitted into the
interconnection queue. The scope of work will include managing land
agents, establishing relationships with landowners, negotiating
real estate acquisition agreements, cultivating relationships with
local government stakeholders, building coalitions and partnerships
with local community members, managing third-party engineering
firms, and facilitating the due-diligence process on assets prior
to sale. Specific tasks include but are not limited to : Coordinate
development activities including site acquisition, real estate and
title curative, interconnection, regulatory approvals, engineering,
land use and environmental permitting, and financial valuation, by
working with internal team, external consultants, and local
stakeholders Coordinate and manage internal and external land
agents Development of long-term relationships with site owners,
local authorities and other project stakeholders Close coordination
with associate project development team to develop and implement
effective permitting campaign strategies Effective communication
with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate
project permitting and other initiatives Fostering support from
state, county and local governments, community groups, and abutters
Management of external consultants as needed in conjunction with
project permitting activities Support the interconnection processes
by ensuring site control and technical requirements are satisfied
Candidates must be a self-starter with experience building multi
tiered partnerships with private, community and government
entities. Some travel and remote work involved, reporting to the
company headquarters in Maitland, FL. Salary is commensurate with
experience.
