    Overview of the Sr. Payroll Analyst Role:
    
    • --- Complete all payroll process cycles for all entities--- Ensure all Pay Groups are paid timely and accurately as scheduled.--- Evaluate and find solutions to issues emanating from interfaces to payroll processes.--- Lead and provide guidance to Payroll Specialists on procedures, guidelines and regulations to make sure they are understood and implemented.--- Identifies process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes.--- Work directly with Payroll Director on other payroll projects.--- Approve and release manual off-cycle check payments.--- Work directly with Payroll Director on Payroll Specialists workload, performance, needs, challenges and accomplishments.--- Review garnishments for accuracy.--- Maintain good working relationships with payroll support areas such as legal, HR, Benefit, timekeeping, HRIS, IS.--- Assist Payroll Director with company acquisitions.--- Assists Payroll Director with quarter end and year end close including the distribution of W2's at year-end.--- Process complex Historical Time Corrections and assist accordingly.--- Train team members on new or enhanced operation procedures and policies.--- Train new team members on payroll process and system functions.--- Assist with creating or adjusting payroll processing policies and procedures on a continuous basis.--- Assist with year end / year begin tasks.--- Maintain a good working relationship with the Payroll Director and escalate potential services issues in a timely manner.--- Cover for Payroll Specialists in back-up role for vacation and high volume work efforts.--- Manage Test Scripts provided by HRIS and effectively process test payroll processing.--- Maintains appropriate knowledge of payroll regulations, benefit packages, etc. to answer all questions from employees regarding payroll deductions appearing on paychecks.--- Research and compile information pertaining to outstanding checks for the unclaimed property report filed annually.
      Preferred Qualifications for the Sr Payroll Specialist:
      
      • Bachelors Degree
        
      • Experience processing high volume Payroll
