Job Description:

The Sr HR Generalist is the go-to person for our employees and managers, helping create a collaborative performance-focused culture through your expertise in employee relations, performance management, and engagement practices. In addition, your expertise in HR compliance will be critical to ensuring that we are doing the right things for our employees and the company, across all local, state, and federal regulations, while also aligning with company core values and culture.This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization, building relationships and establishing credibility with employees from a wide range of teams/departments.We are currently planning to fill this role in either our Longwood, FL office or our Phoenix, AZ office; the successful candidate will support (and travel, when there is a business necessity) all other office locations (5 and growing). We anticipate travel will be less than 25%. This will start as an in-office role until the new hire is fully integrated and has built relationships across the organization, at which point it will move to a hybrid schedule. Key Duties: Employee Relations - Manage employee coaching and corrective actions from the initial call through final resolution and tracking/reporting, partnering with others on the HR team or external partners as needed. Respond to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment, or discrimination. Manages unemployment claim administration and attends unemployment hearings if necessary. Compliance - Partners with the company leadership and the HR team to review, update, and communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Act as SME for internal HR policy interpretation. Benefits Administration - Manages FMLA, and ADA requests, eligibility tracking, and recordkeeping. Responds to and manages Workers Comp claims. Acts as a safety coordinator for Covid-19. Salary/Merit - Assists with annual salary/merit process and performance review process. Distributes annual employee notices as required and benefits reporting requirements. HRIS - Runs reports routinely or as necessary to analyze data for ongoing issues or projects. Assists with implementation or upgrading of new HR system modules as needed. HR Compliance - ensure employee files are compliant, maintain/review/update completed job descriptions, maintain affirmative action program; file annual EEO-1 report; maintain other records, reports & logs to comply with EEO/AAP & OSHA regulations. Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in HR legislation. Other duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in HR or a related field Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role Solid understanding/experience with human resources processes, employee relations, FMLA/leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA etc.), performance management, employee development, corrective action, employee investigations, regulatory reporting. Excellent Microsoft Office Skills Desired Qualifications: HR certification(s) Experience and understanding with California HR law / CA HR certification(s) HR Experience in an MSP environment, especially a technology MSP (familiar with nuances of the industry) Experience in a health care setting Small company (50-500 employee) HR experience Required Skills/Abilities: High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations and detailed documentation. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
