We promote a strong safety culture, where employees take responsibility for their own safety.As a Block Manufacturing Operator you will perform a wide range of duties within the plant including, but not limited to: Operating a forklift, lifting as much as 40 pounds alone, being on feet all day, following all required safety procedures and general clean-up around the plant.Monitors the operation of concrete block manufacturing machine. - Tasks include, removing and installing brick molds, cleaning all parts of the machinery. - Shoveling, sweeping and raking up debris from base of machinery. - Will also make adjustments to calibration of machine and make general repairs as needed to keep machine operating. - Pushes blocks along rollers and arranges them to be placed onto pallets. -May climb into machinery to repair parts. - Climbs into and works in enclosed space when cleaning out mixer.Requirements:

• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met by complying with legislation, company policies and promoting a safe work environment
• Minimum 1 years previous experience (Preferred not required)
• Forklift experience (Preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to work 2nd or 3rd Shift
