BriarTeam is seeking a highly skilled and certified CDL A Driver with endorsements for Tanker and Hazardous Materials. As an integral part of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods, leveraging our cutting-edge technology to optimize delivery routes and enhance compliance with safety standards. This role demands precision, resilience, and a profound commitment to operational excellence. Operate a tanker with hazardous materials safely and efficiently. Inspect vehicle before and after trips, ensuring that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Manage routes and routines to optimize efficiency and fuel consumption while adhering to government and company regulations. Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff to report any incidents or issues. Expert knowledge in operating tanker and hazmat vehicles. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Proficient in electronic log systems like Omnitracs or Peoplenet. Ability to handle emergency situations effectively. Exceptional route planning abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Tanker Endorsement (N).
